GovHack 2019 is less than 2 weeks away! Have you registered yet?

GovHack is now less than two weeks away! In the ACT it will be bigger than ever, and in its 10th year it will be going back to where it all started – the ANU.

It is the longest running and largest open data hackathon ‘aka creative festival’ in the southern hemisphere (and possibly the world).

Earlier this week we had our Connections Event in Canberra. Emma Schultz from the ANU opened the evening, followed by presentations by Darren O’Shannassy from InfoSys, and Jean Allsop and Greg Tankard from the ACT Government reflecting on the past 10 years, and raising some questions about the next 10…

The energy and excitement for this years event is building! I can’t wait to see what new innovative and creative ideas emerge. The main competition weekend starts on the 6th September, and we have some very special guest speakers before the rubber hits the road at 7pm.

Registration is free, open to anyone, and open now – go to: https://hackerspace.govhack.org/events/canberra_australian_capital_territory_63

Hope you can make it!

If you have any questions on the event in the ACT - please email me at julian@govhack.org.

Cheers,
Julian
